As you may have seen, the Bohunt.Org Community site is slowly becoming a portal site. Hopefuly we will be able to make a forum that will fit in with portal but that will be whilte to wait.
Anyway, as i am building the portal myself i hopefuly will be posting tutorials here on the forum, and on youtube for a graphical way of doing things.
For anyone who does not know of ASP.NET or is wounder what it is about, here's a link that will explain all: ASP.NET
Hopefuly i will be posting this in a little while.
If you already know a bit about .NET framework and web development, then here's some stats on what i'll be using:
Because i cannot use SQL server, i am using MS Access for the database. This may be great for people who like me are unable to use SQL.
It will be made over a long period of time.
*note: The portal may not even be completed. The tutorials will just point you in the right direction for making a fully featured portal site in ASP.NET using MS Access datasources. Hopefuly posting tutorials like this may get us more members to the forum and the site.
(I'm afraid there's still no registration at the moment, but that's because there is nothing to do on the site. All that has been made so far is the 'News' block. Hopefuly the news block tutorial will come out soon.)
